I would love to give this zero, but I can't so 1 star will have to do. Let's start with the pro's: *Access to the highway 101 and to some stores nearby (like the nearby gas stations for snacks) *Comes with microwave, fireplace, washer and dryer, heating and cooling, and a little storage room. *Good community (friendly neighbors (somewhat), nice pool and hot tub area, nice pond with fountains, etc) *A choice between 1 or 2 bedrooms (we got a 2 bedroom for 4, sharing bedrooms), not bad. *Rent is at a fine price (it's California, what do you expect?) *Nothing broke on us, for now. Cons: *Our apartment was left a dump when we first moved in, well we cleaned it up which was good. *If you got pets, remember to block the gaps for the back porch if you live downstairs, they can escape through those gaps. If you don't have pets, you're fine, but safety first. *Remember the "neighbors" part? Well some of which are bad, the neighbors above me had little kids, constantly stomping around, driving my dogs and most of the members of my house crazy. I encouraged them to at least have some control, but no, didn't work. My solution would be to insulate the ceilings, that would at least muffle the noise out somewhat. I understand they're little kids but if you can't control them, then don't live upstairs. *The community as well, my mom's car was broken into one night, her lunch bag looked like a purse and there was glass pretty much everywhere in our assigned spot. A random gold-like car hit someone else's car (not mine or anyone in my family) when we got dropped off at our apartment. There was also a dumpster diver (I could assume, he wasn't wearing any garbage manager's outfit so I assume was a dumpster diver). *Pests! Mice especially, our apartment is clean and there was a mouse on rare occasions. Wait until the lease is up and we'll be out of this wretched hive of scum and villainy (especially from the upstairs neighbors). Yeah Star Wars reference. Well at least it's a temporary place (for a year). My final thought is, do not live here unless you can tolerate some of the people who live here and some other flaws. Check out other places, not this one. *UPDATE! So we got evicted for some unknown reason, and at least we have moved out of this place. THANK GOD! Again, go check out other places, not this one.
